The Gadget platform built for ESP completions — a single-trip system that keeps the ESP in a more optimal position, with a safety release if the tailpipe sticks.
The Gadget ESP System creates a more efficient means to produce horizontal wells. Through a series of tools run in a single trip below the ESP, it helps maintain a more optimal pump position, increasing production and prolonging mean time between failures — which helps bring down lease operating expense.
A velocity string built for ESP completions, with a safety release if the tailpipe sticks.
The Gadget ESP System is a third-generation tailpipe where a series of tools runs in below the ESP as a single-trip production system.
The multi-purpose velocity string creates a more gaseous flow regime through the tailpipe, lightening the hydrostatic column on the reservoir and allowing more drawdown while maintaining a higher pump position.
A desander can be placed at the entry of the tailpipe to remove solids before they move uphole.
If the pump or tailpipe becomes stuck, the system's safety release mechanism frees the ESP for a safe trip out of hole.
Adjustable retention valves help prevent fluid falling backward when critical lift isn't always achieved, without risking killing the well. Downhole gas separators can also be added to increase gas handling capacity on shrouded ESPs.
A lower completion for intake and lift, an upper completion for isolation and safe retrieval.
Increased production without moving the intake.
Sustained increase in production on a large fluid volume well.
Significantly more stable production.
