A rig-less, slickline-installed desander for plunger lift wells — made up on surface, set in existing profile nipples, and removed the same way when it's full. Mark 12 is not a screen.
Mark 12 is a rig-less, slickline-installed plunger lift desander. It's made up on surface, run in on slickline, and set in existing profile nipples — removing solids from the production stream and collecting them downhole. Mark 12 is a patent-pending desander for plunger-lifted wells run with conventional plunger lift bottom hole assemblies, designed for wells where sand causes premature wear and stuck plungers.
A hydrocyclonic desander that installs and retrieves on slickline, no rig required.
Mark 12 is made up on surface and run in hole on slickline, then anchored using seat cups in the profile — no need to pull the tubing to install it.
Unlike a downhole screen, Mark 12 separates sand from solution using the hydrocyclonic method, preventing sand from moving upward and plugging the way screens often do.
Additional mud joints can be added to increase sand collection volume for particularly sandy wells.
When the joints become full, the system is removed on slickline, cleaned out, and rerun. It can sit below a conventional plunger lift BHA and set in profile nipples, or run as a stage tool on a tubing stop.
